Dr Wood developed an interest in anaesthesia during his intercalated BSc in neuroscience whilst at medical school. He is dual accredited as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine.

Dr Woods’ specialist interests include anaesthesia for bariatric surgery, and regional anaesthesia. He is a vascular access specialist able to insert ports, PICCs and mid lines. He is actively involved in medical education and is an ALS, EPALS and ATLS instructor.
