Dr Fai is the MTW Trust’s clinical lead for pain services and has experience in management of a wide array of pain conditions – spinal pain accounts for approximately 60% of the workload of the MTW Trust’s pain management unit.

His specific areas of interest include interventional cancer pain management, ultrasound guided regional techniques and management of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS – formerly called reflex sympathetic dystrophy).

The MTW Trust’s service works closely with orthopaedics, palliative care and physiotherapy services. Additionally he is working on improving access to psychological therapies for our patient population as well.
